Netanel Hadad ("Unsweet," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Unsweet mobile application (the "App").

We believe in privacy by design. We have structured the App so that your most sensitive data remains on your device.
All data regarding your sugar intake logs, streaks, cravings, and personal notes ("Health & Habit Data") is stored locally on your mobile device. We do not transmit this specific personal health data to an external cloud server, and we do not view or access your specific log entries. Note: If you delete the App from your device, this data will be permanently lost, as we do not keep a backup copy.
While we do not see your personal health logs, we do collect anonymized or pseudonymized technical data to understand how the App is used and to improve our marketing efforts. This includes:

4.1. Local Data: Since your Health & Habit Data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete this data at any time by simply uninstalling the App.
4.2. Analytics Data: Technical data stored with our third-party partners (PostHog/AppsFlyer) is retained according to their data retention policies, typically for a period necessary to provide analytics reports, after which it is aggregated or deleted.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS devices, we may request your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites (via the IDFA identifier) for marketing attribution purposes. You have the right to decline this request. If you decline, we will not track you for advertising purposes, but the App will continue to function fully.
The App is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without verification of parental consent, we verify to remove that information from our analytics servers.
Unsweet is operated from Israel. If you are located outside Israel and choose to provide information to us (via our third-party processors), please note that the data, including usage data, may be transferred to—and processed in—countries where our third-party providers (PostHog, AppsFlyer) maintain servers, including the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Since your primary data is stored on your device, the security of that data also depends on your device's security (e.g., password protection, keeping iOS updated).
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
